Prayer for Refugees

Immaculate Mary, we entrust

into your care and protection the ‘Holy Families’

migrating in Hope, in Fear, in Longing,

for some safety –

for something like a home.

As we open ourselves to their stories, their needs, their spirits, and their wounds…

may we know that we are welcoming Jesus and that Jesus is among us.

We pray for Mercy –

we pray for all migrants –

we pray for our community –

we pray that we may be Sacrament for one another – through Christ our Lord. Amen
